Lois was born in Calabar, Nigeria in 1954.  After completing an art foundation followed by a BA(hons) degree at Portsmouth University. 

She taught at the Kings Secondary School Fairoak, Hampshire as Head of Art.  She has also taught adult watercolour classes.  Lois has made installation work including 'Melting Hearts' and 'Prayer Wall'.  She has a multi media approach to her work although her first love is painting.
